Workshop
The workshop is the heart of your scrapbooking retreat weekend. The lower level of the cottage is where you will find this spacious workshop along with its own half bathroom. The workshop is a crafter’s paradise and a place to let your creativity explode. The workshop was designed with scrapbookers in mind, but stampers, quilters, jewelry makers and other crafters will find the space comfortable and functional. There are nine work stations, each with a large six foot table, dedicated work lamp, craft mat and cup holder. A Cricut machine is available for your use as well as a paper cutter, many punches and other cutting tools. Each station features a comfortable task chair so that you can spend hours losing yourself in your project. The space is well lit and also has sweeping views outside the sliding glass door. The workshop also has a cozy relaxation corner including TV and DVD player and plenty of “chick flicks” for those interested in taking a break from crafting.
Run out of supplies? The workshop will have a limited amount of items available for purchase including basic cardstock and tape runner.
Just around the corner from this wonderful workshop is the “bistro room” boasting a mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, wet bar and snack station. Keep your creative juices flowing with your own chilled or warm beverage and snacks from the complimentary snack station.
